VETERANS RESOURCE & OUTREACH CENTER
The Veterans Resource & Outreach Center (VROC) in Rowlett, TX is here to help meet the rising needs of veterans and their families.
Our facility, located at 4210 Industrial Street Bldg 100, serves as the base of operations for a variety of programs and services for the veteran community.
During our first year, the VROC has seen more than 1,500 veterans, helped to provided countless veterans with food, clothing, home & car repairs, counseling, jobs, and so much more. We are committed to bringing long-term solutions to those who have served our great nation.
Thanks to all the volunteers and generous donors who have contributed to our success. We couldn’t have done it without you!

10,000 For The Troops

Grab a card, or a stack of cards and write a message to the troops!
This is a great project for schools, organizations, churches, groups or families.
Drop the cards at the Veterans Resource & Outreach Center by Monday, November 18th. We will then get the cards to one of the sponsors on the event.

Thanksgiving Meal Baskets
Our Goal is 500 baskets
There are a couple of ways to help
- Assemble the baskets on your own time & drop them off at the food pantry
- Donate food items so that we can assemble the basket at the food pantry
Deadline for baskets is November 15, 2024
Looking For:
Stuffing, Gravy, Cranberry, Flour, Sugar,
Instant or Boxed Potatoes,
Mac & Cheese, Fried Onions
Cream of Mushroom Soup
Pie Filling
Regular sized cans/packages work best (nothing oversized)

The VROC offers backpacks/rucksacks to veterans who are homeless or unable to afford basic hygiene products. Each backpack is filled with the necessities to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The backpack is filled with snacks, a warm blanket, new socks, soap, comb, toothbrush and so much more.

The Rowlett Municipal Court's Veteran Diversion Program Is now a reality!
This program allows suitably screened Veterans charged with a Class C Misdemeanor to opt for Diversion which includes 1 or 2 Sessions with a Certified Counselor at The VROC and Peer Support through the Walk The Bridge event.
